A) Morphological Veterinary Medicine

(1) Introduction
Morphological Veterinary Medicine are related to the understanding of animal body structures and how disease occurs, and the subsequent developing of medications. They consist of studies on the growth of embryos and fetuses (embryology); anatomical structures and functions (anatomy), microscopic structures (histology), the causes and pathological characteristics of various infectious toxic, metabolic and genetic diseases (pathology); and the development and application of research animals to develop medications in the treatment of human diseases (laboratory animal medicine). In order to teach this advanced knowledge, veterinary graduate schools conduct experiments utilizing the most modern technologies.

B) Functional Veterinary Medicine

(1) Introduction
Functional Veterinary Medicine are related to understanding the animal's normal cell differentiation, physiological functions, and metabolism; as well as the effect of a medicine and its side effects. Studies on cell differentiation and genetic revelation (bio-engineering), biochemical reactions involved in metabolism (bio-chemistry), physiological reactions to maintain body functions (physiology), medication's functions and movements (pharmacology), the side effects of medications and toxic materials (toxicology) provide the focus. The graduate school provides a wide variety of courses for students to help them acquire this knowledge.

C) Preventive Veterinary Medicine

(1) Introduction
Preventive Veterinary Medicine are related to understanding the causes, development, treatment and prevention of animal disease with ultimate goal of improving and enriching human health and human life. Main research topics are the development of restrainers and cures for infectious diseases caused by germs; the understanding of molecular biological characteristics of various microorganisms; and the prevention and reduction of food contamination, which are all related to human health.
Based on veterinary fundamentals and preventive knowledge, Veterinary Pathology seeks to diagnose and treat animal disease. Also, it helps to improve animal productivity. Veterinary Pathology consists of internal treatment, surgery, obstetrics, diagnostic tesst, radiology, wild animal treatment, bird disease treatment, and aquatic animal disease treatment. Each course provides a unique education for future clinical veterinarians.
